Scooter rider hurt in crash with car driven by mainlander

A male scooter rider was injured in a head-on collision with a car apparently travelling up the hill in the wrong lane outside Star River Windsor Arch in Taipa yesterday, the Public Security Police (PSP) said.

According to the police, the male car driver is a mainlander who holds a South Korean driving licence. He is allowed to drive in Macau, the police said.

According to the police, the crash happened at around 2 a.m. yesterday in Estrada Lou Lim Ieok outside Block 2 of the luxury residential estate, when the car travelling up the hill hit the scooter travelling in the opposite direction.
