Macau’s best-known professional boxer Ng Kuok Kun aka KK aka ‘The Macau Kid’ will be aiming to win his first international title in Hainan’s Ding’an county tomorrow against Thai opponent Thotsaphol Thongplew.

This will be KK’s 14th professional fight, (he represented Macau in last year’s 18th Asian Games (commonly known as Jakarta Palembang 2018) in Indonesia as an amateur, with a record of 13 wins, no losses, and 7 KOs – and he will be up against Thotsaphol (6-1- 3 KOs) who was knocked out in his last fight in April last year in a bout for the WBO (World Boxing Organisation) Asia Pacific Youth Welterweight belt.

KK’s last defence of his China Professional Boxing Union (CPBU) belt was not recorded on the BoxRec website, which still has his fight record as 12-0-7 KOs.
