Chui to attend GBA symposium in HK tomorrow

Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On will lead a local government delegation to Hong Kong tomorrow to attend a symposium on the central government’s Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area (GBA), the Macau Government Information Bureau (GCS) has announced.

During the one-day symposium, Chui will deliver a speech. Officials from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the central government’s top think tank, will brief the participants on the plan.

The 50-member Macau government delegation will include some of the members of the Executive Council, local deputies to the National People’s Congress (NPC) and local members of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).


Ni Jingyun, a researcher, carries out an experiment at the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Science and Technology Industrial Park of Cooperation between Guangdong and Macau, in the Hengqin Area of the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone in Zhuhai, in October last year. The TCM park is one of a string of projects in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) comprising nine cities in Guangdong province and the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau. – Xinhua
