The Judiciary Police (PJ) and Macau Customs Service have jointly busted a gang which had been helping illegal immigrants enter or leave Macau, PJ spokesman Chan Wun Man said during a special press conference yesterday.

Six men and a woman have been arrested. While four of the males are suspected members of the gang, the others are illegal immigrants, Chan said.

The Judiciary Police were recently tipped off that a gang was helping illegal immigrants enter Macau from Zhuhai by sea.
