The police have transferred a local male scooter rider who killed an 85-year-old local woman in Avenida de Sidónio Pais in a traffic accident on Sunday to the Public Prosecution Office (MP) on a possible charge of negligent homicide, Public Security Police (PSP) spokesman Kam Ka Kit said during a regular press conference yesterday.
Kam identified the suspect as a 30-year-old salesman surnamed Wong.
According to a police announcement on Sunday, the accident happened near Flora Garden on Sunday morning, when the scooter hit the woman who was crossing the one-way avenue that runs from the Hoi Fu Garden estate to Praça do Tap Seac.
