A 65-year-old local man punched his 82-year-old mother in the face in their flat last month, causing her nose to bleed, as he was unhappy with the dinner that she had prepared, Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesman Lai Man Vai said during a regular press conference yesterday.
The woman was hospitalised for three days after the attack, Lai said.
On the evening of February 13, the man, who works as a cleaner, returned to the family flat in Coloane to have dinner with his mother, Lai said.
