The Judiciary Police (PJ) have arrested a mainlander for breaking into a flat in a low-rise residential building in Estrada Marginal do Hipódromo in Areia Preta district on January 14, PJ spokesman Lai Man Vai said during a regular press conference yesterday.
According to Lai, the suspect is a 33-year-old man surnamed Li who told the police he is a delivery man on the mainland. The surname of the victim was not released.
Lai said that the Judiciary Police received a burglary case from the Public Security Police (PSP) on January 14. The victim reported a loss of 373,000 patacas – cash, two deluxe watches and jewellery.
