An elderly man has been arrested for assaulting a public bus driver in a row about almost having been unable to get onto the bus on Sunday, Public Security Police (PSP) spokeswoman Lai In Hong said during a regular press conference yesterday.
According to Lai, the suspect surnamed Cheang is in his seventies. The victim surnamed Leong is in his forties. Both are locals.
According to Lai, the incident happened at around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday when Cheang was hailing the arriving bus in Rua do Visconde Paço de Arcos near Ponte 16.
