An almond cookie bakery, a gold jeweller, a congee shop and an ice-cream parlour are among the 12 local businesses that were given the “Macau Classic Brand” title yesterday.
The “Macau Classic Brand” project has been organised by the Macau Chain Stores and Franchise Association in conjunction with the Economic Services Bureau (DSE).
During the award ceremony at the World Trade Centre, DSE Director Tai Kin Ip noted that the bureau signed a cooperation agreement with Macau Chain Stores and Franchise Association in November 2017 to support the “Macau Classic Brand” evaluation process, as part of the government’s effort to help local time-honoured brands improve business operations and open up business opportunities.
