Two MGM MACAU employees have been infected with rubella, and the total number of rubella patients so far this year has reached 24, the Health Bureau (SSM) said in a statement yesterday.
According to the statement, the two patients are local residents born on the mainland, a 34-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman, adding that the male patient had been to Fujian province during his rubella incubation period, while the female patient did not leave Macau during her incubation period.
The statement underlined that the patients are unaware of their vaccination records, adding that the family members that the two patients are living with do not have symptoms of rubella.
