Two women and a two-year-old girl were taken to hospital last night after being hit by a taxi outside the Fisherman’s Wharf’s Harbourview Hotel opposite Sands Macau coming from the direction of the Macau Science Centre.
According to the Public Security Police (PSP), they received a report about the incident at around 10 p.m.
The taxi driver is in his 30s. The victims, all from the mainland holding Hong Kong-Macau travel permits, are a 50-year-old grandmother, a 29-year-old mother and her two-year-old daughter, the police said, adding that the taxi driver passed the breathalyser test.This still image from a video circulating on Facebook last night shows policemen at the scene of the incident with the baby (left) crying in the video, and her mother and grandmother lying on the road after being hit by a taxi on Avenida Dr Sun Yat-Sen last night.
