Two TCM buses crashed into each other at the junction of Avenida do Conselheiro Ferreira de Almeida and Avenida do Ouvidor Arriaga yesterday, slightly injuring six passengers on the two buses, the Fire Services Bureau (CB) said.
The police said they suspected that the accident was due to one of the buses jumping a red light.
According to the Fire Services Bureau, the two buses crashed at the junction at around 11:45 a.m. yesterday, when one of the two buses was travelling along Avenida do Conselheiro Ferreira de Almeida towards Avenida do Coronel Mesquita, while the other was travelling along Avenida do Ouvidor Arriaga towards Avenida de Sidónio Pais.
