The Judiciary Police (PJ) have announced the arrest of a tourist from Portugal for scrawling graffiti on a wall of the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) headquarters in the city centre last month.
PJ spokesman Ho Chan Nam announced the arrest during a regular press conference on Friday.
After his arrest, the Portuguese man, who faces a charge of causing aggravated damage, told the police that on a sudden impulse he scrawled the graffiti on the wall to express his love for his girlfriend who lives in Macau, when he was walking there alone, according to Ho.
