The Macau Basic Law Promotion Association (ADLBM) will work with community organisations and the government to step up their effort to promote the Macau Basic Law, legislator-cum-auditor Chui Sai Cheong, who heads the association, said yesterday.
The association and several government organs jointly hosted a bazaar in Praça do Tap Seac yesterday to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of the promulgation of the Macau Basic Law. The activity included dance performances by children and 18 game booths at which participants could learn more about the city’s highest law.
Speaking at the bazaar’s opening ceremony, Chui said that the government and various sectors of civil society should constantly carry out a wide range of activities to promote the Basic Law so that it would “find its way deep into people’s heart”.
