US-based limited-edition toy and clothing designer KAWS, whose clothing collection with UNIQLO caused a “free-for-all” in the whole of China including Macau recently, has a six-metre tall figure at Morpheus on a floor usually restricted to hotel guests, is now open for public viewing.
There are two KAWS figures, which are individually called COMPANION, and together, the sculpture is called “Good Intentions”. The sculpture is located on the 23rd floor at Morpheus which is usually for its hotel guests only, but now is open to the general public as part of its exhibition for the “Art Macao” joint initiative by the government and Macau’s tourism sector.
Titled “Unexpected Encounters”, the exhibition features a total of 16 pieces, opened on Wednesday.
