The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested a mainlander on Wednesday for raping a woman in a guestroom of a casino-hotel in the city centre after the victim refused his request to become his girlfriend, PJ spokesman Leng Kam Lon said during a special press conference yesterday.
The suspect was arrested in the guestroom after the victim called hotel staff to report the case to the police. After arrested, the suspect refused to cooperate, according to the police.
Leng identified the suspect as a 40-year-old businessman surnamed Chen, who had met the victim in the casino-hotel just a few hours before raping her.
