About 21 main roadwork projects are to be carried out during this summer holiday, 80 percent of which will be finished before the new school year begins in September, Transport Bureau (DSAT) Coordination Department Chief Mok Soi Tou said yesterday.
The bureau held a press conference yesterday on its premises to introduce the city’s ongoing main roadworks. Various public utilities’ representatives also attended.
Mok told the press conference that 21 roadworks involving the city’s major roads are planned for this summer holiday period, a similar number to the 20 roadworks carried out in the same period of last year.
