The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested yesterday a man from Hong Kong for selling drugs in Macau so that he could earn “fast money”, PJ spokesman Chan Wun Man said during a special press conference yesterday.
According to Chan, the 56-year-old suspect is surnamed Ho. He told the police that he is unemployed and has had a hard time in Hong Kong as he was addicted to drugs before. Therefore, he decided to sell drugs to earn “fast money,” Chan noted.
The police received recently a tip-off that a drug-trafficking gang hired a Hong Kong man to sell drugs to patrons in local nightclubs, Chan said.
