Transport Bureau (DSAT) Director Lam Hin San said yesterday that a trial run of the long-announced “next stop announcement system” for the city’s public buses will finally start at the end of next month or in early June.
Lam also said that he expected the system to be implemented formally around mid-August.
Lam made the announcement after attending a closed-door meeting of the government-appointed Traffic Consultative Council at the bureau.
