Gaming operator Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) will sponsor the annual Macau International Marathon for 10.5 million patacas over three years, the co-organisers announced yesterday.
The 38th Macau International Marathon, slated to take place on December 1, expects12, 000 runners to compete in the three different distances, the Sports Bureau (ID) announced at a press conference in Cotai.
The joint organisers – the Sports Bureau (ID) and General Association of Athletics of Macau (AGAM) in conjunction with title sponsor Galaxy Entertainment Group – announced the programme during a press conference at Galaxy Macao’s Ritz-Carlton hotel.
