Malaysian fireworks company Blastmaster pyrotechnician Krishna Moorthy said yesterday that Macau is “one of the best” venues for fireworks by the sea offering a very good photo-opportunity.
Moorthy made the remarks at a press briefing about the two companies that will start the 30th Macau International Fireworks Display Contest at Macau Tower on Saturday.
According to a statement by the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO), Moorthy’s company and its rival firework company Platinum Fireworks from the Philippines will display their pyrotechnic shows on Saturday from 9 p.m., the first two teams competing in this year’s firework display contest.
