The Public Security Police (PSP) arrested yesterday a drunken tourist for attacking a taxi driver and two PSP officers, PSP spokesman Choi Iok Kin said during a regular press conference in Zape yesterday.
According to Choi, the 18-year-old suspect is surnamed Jia, from Sichuan province and holds a Macau entry permit. The three victims comprise a local taxi driver and male and female police officers. Their personal information was not released.
According to Choi, the incident was reported by the taxi driver at about 10:50 p.m. on Tuesday. Jia, who was drunk, took a taxi from Nam Van district to Rua Cidade de Coimbra in Nape. When the taxi arrived near L’Arc Hotel, Jia suspected that the taxi driver was taking a detour. She suddenly moved from the rear seat to the front passenger seat next to the driver and hit the driver on the head and pulled his hair, Choi said.
