The Government Tourism Office (MGTO) said in a statement yesterday that South Korea had grown into the largest source of international visitors to the city, and that the number of visitors from South Korea overall was Macau’s fourth highest last year, after visitors from the mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
According to the statement, the office plans to further develop the South Korean market.
A local delegation led by Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture Alexis Tam Chon Weng attended yesterday’s opening ceremony of ‘Experience Macau Your Own Style’ in Seoul. The event will last for a week.
