The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested a male mainlander on Tuesday for burgling a restaurant in Nape, PJ spokesman Choi Ian Fai said during a special press conference yesterday.
The suspect has been banned by the Macau authorities from entering the city after having been arrested in July for a theft in a supermarket in the same district, according to Choi, who said that the suspect illegally entered Macau again before committing the burglary last Monday.
Choi identified the suspect as a 37-year-old surnamed Li who told the police that he works as a chef in mainland China.
