Secretary for Security Wong Sio Chak said yesterday that the police have “never” had a blacklist of non-locals denied entry into Macau, adding that in each case of preventing a non-local from entering the city, the police always make the decision after an ad hoc assessment based on “objective criteria and objective facts”.

Speaking to reporters at Macau Tower after attending an official reception to celebrate National Day, the policy secretary also said that individuals denied entry into Macau would never admit that they plan to undermine Macau’s security while visiting the city.

The city’s immigration service is run by the Public Security Police (PSP).
