A local man was detained last week for touching a woman’s buttocks, Public Security Police (PSP) spokesman Lam Keong said during a regular press conference yesterday.
According to Lam, the 38-year-old suspect is surnamed Choi. He told the police that he is unemployed. The victim is a local in her forties. Due to the type of alleged crime, no further information on the victim was released by the police.
The incident happened at about 7 p.m. last Wednesday in Rua Oito do Bairro in Iao Hon district. When a woman was walking in the street she felt someone touching her buttocks. As she turned around, she saw a man running away in the direction of Istmo Ferreira Amaral, according to Lam.
