The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested a local man on Saturday for cheating four Indian males out of a total of 192,500 patacas, in collaboration with a still-at-large Filipina, in a job-seeking scam, by claiming that he could help them get jobs as security guards in the city, PJ spokeswoman Lei Hon Nei said during a special press conference on Sunday.

Lei identified the suspect as a 55-year-old retired public servant surnamed Silva Moura.

According to Lei, the four Indian victims separately reported to the police from March that each of them had been cheated by two people – the local man and the Filipina – out of money in a fake job-seeking scheme.
