An international badminton event sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) as part of the HSBC BWF World Tour Super 300 tournaments will be held at the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion from October 29 to November 3.
The event is organised by the Badminton Federation of Macau in conjunction with the Sports Bureau (ID). The equipment is sponsored by Protech Sports of Malaysia. A total of 18 countries and regions and 282 players from around the world will take part.
Kong Tat Choi, who heads both the Badminton Federation of Macau and organising committee, chaired a press conference at Hotel Royal on Friday about the event. Some of the local shuttlers were present.
