The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) said in a statement yesterday that its inspectors busted an unlicensed food vendor, a non-local who was soliciting passers-by to buy cooked food including meal boxes near a footbridge in Cotai last week.
The statement did not mention the vendor’s gender, not where he or she came from.
The statement said that the bureau launched an operation to bust unlicensed vendors selling food in Cotai last Thursday, when IAM inspectors found that the person was soliciting passers-by to buy meal boxes and other cooked food that was being stored in a bag and two suitcases, near a footbridge in Estrada do Istmo, informally known as Cotai Strip.
This handout photo provided by the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) yesterday shows meal boxes seized from two suitcases of an unlicensed food vendor underneath a footbridge in Cotai last Thursday.
