Macau’s exports of cosmetics and beauty and skin-care products rose 131.2 percent year-on-year to 435 million patacas in the first nine months of the year, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) has announced.
Imports of the same kind of products grew 32.1 percent year-on-year to 4.5 billion patacas between January and September.
The total value of exports increased 3.6 percent to 9.4 billion patacas in the nine-month period. Re-exports accounted for 88.6 percent of all exports.
