The University of Macau’s Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) has officially attained accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), the public university said in a statement on Friday, which described the AMBA as “one of the world’s leading authorities on post-graduate business education.”
The statement, which did not say when the faculty received the accreditation, pointed out that the University of Macau “is the first and only educational institution in Macau to receive this accolade.”
The statement noted that “with the attainment of this prestigious accreditation, FBA now joins an exclusive group of Business Schools (less than 1.3 percent in the world) that have gained both AACSB and AMBA accreditations – two of the world’s top business education accreditations.”
