A scooter was being ridden on the wrong side of the road on Ponte da Amizade (Friendship Bridge) at about 2:50 a.m. on Sunday as he was heading towards the peninsula from Taipa, according to a video posted by a user on Facebook.
A Public Security Police (PSP) spokeswoman told The Macau Post Daily last night that the case was still being investigated and no details would be revealed for the time being.
The online video shows that the scooter rider, wearing dark coloured clothes on a black vehicle, which has a blue lock box behind the pillion, just cresting the arc of the bridge against the direction of traffic.
