Baidu chief to give talk at UM on autonomous driving: UM

Zhang Yaqin, president of Beijing-based internet giant Baidu, will be giving a lecture on “Advances in Autonomous Driving” on Monday at the University of Macau (UM) campus on Hengqin Island, according to a UM statement yesterday

At the event, Zhang will talk about the opportunities and challenges brought about by autonomous driving from “technological, industrial and policy perspectives”, the statement said.

The lecture, which is a part of the University Lecture Series, will be conducted in English, with simultaneous interpretation into Putonghua, the statement noted.
