At 8 a.m., when most Macau residents just wake up, Lei Zhen has already left his home at Estrada de Cacilhas for his company in the neighboring city of Zhuhai.
One hour later, he arrives at his office at the Zhuhai National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone, where he has set up Zhuhai Nanometals Technology to develop nano flexible transparent conductive material.
A graduate of the School of Material Science and Engineering at Tsinghua University, Lei chose to set his startup in Zhuhai, a city not far from home and supportive of his career.
