South Korean saxophonist Park Gwang Sik played a charity concert at D. Pedro V Theatre on Saturday night, titled “The Dawn of Spring Rain”, organised by CBMC Macau (Christian Business & Marketplace Connection). The old quaint theatre was almost full to capacity with the members of the association.

Park and South Korean singer Kim Da Young, famous for her 2015 single “What If It Was Going”, which for five days was top of Melon’s (South Korea’s biggest music streaming site) music charts, sang some of her hits – both performed on the sound track of the South Korean drama “Descendants of the Sun”, which was a worldwide hit.

Park took to the stage to rapturous applause and welcomed the audience in Putonghua and spoke to the audience through a Putonghua interpreter during the evening.
