Fu Ziying, the director of the Central People’s Government Liaison Office in the Macau Special Administrative Region (MSAR), published an article in the People’s Daily yesterday about his “deep learning reflection” on President Xi Jinping’s important speech at the ceremony of the 20th anniversary of Macau’s return to the motherland last year.
According to Fu, during the ceremony Xi “fully recognised” Macau’s great achievements since its return to the motherland, adding that Xi’s speech gave an in-depth summary of the successful experience of practising the “One Country, Two Systems” principle in Macau.
Xi delivered the speech at the Macau East Asian Games Dome on December 20.
