A woman attacked three people in their flat after finding out the man she was looking for was not at home, killing one and injuring two, the Judiciary Police (PJ) said yesterday.
A Judiciary Police statement said that a woman in her 30s went looking for a man living in an Areia Preta housing estate at about 7 p.m. yesterday, and when she was told he was not at home, the woman, with a knife in her hand, charged into the flat and attacked the man’s mother, his wife and his five-year-old son.

The police said that the man’s mother was severely bleeding from her abdomen but was conscious when being taken to hospital, while his son sustained cuts to his left shoulder, chest, back and face, but was in a stable condition.
