According to the findings of a local survey released yesterday, smartphones can have a negative impact on family relationships.

The findings were released during a presentation hosted by the Sheng Kung Hui Macau Social Services Coordination Office on the premises of the Sheng Kung Hui Northern District Youth Work Team (Fai Chi Kei). The one-day event was focused on the effect of smartphone use on family relationships.

Sheng Kung Hui is the Cantonese name for the Anglican Church.

According to the organisers, the aim of the presentation was to urge families to use their smartphones responsibly and to focus more on the quality of family life.
