Lawmaker-cum-businessman Vitor Cheung Lup Kwan said yesterday that young people were in need of proper civic education so as to teach them the important values of the past.
A plenary session was held at the legislature yesterday where government officials briefed legislators on the city’s first ever Five-Year Development Plan and collected lawmakers’ suggestions on the draft.
Speaking during the session, Cheung, initially praising the plan, lamented that the government prioritised the wrong things.
