An exhibition entitled “Designs & Paintings” showcases paintings by young local artist Loi Sin Tong at the Youth Art Exhibition and Performance Hall.

According to information released on the website of the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (DSEJ), Loi is a Form 5 pupil at Sheng Kung Hui Choi Kou School. She is a multi-talented young girl who has been very active in various kinds of performances and artwork.

The exhibition features watercolours, sketches and designs which focus on food and daily life. Loi’s style is fresh, cute, colourful and pleasing, according to the DSEJ website.

Loi hopes to share with the audience not only her artwork, but also her painting style and skills through the exhibition. She has been influenced by her elder brother who is studying design and therefore she became interested in this area as well. Loi is fond of drawing little objects and designing small items such as clothes and badges, amongst others, her profile provided by a DSEJ official points out.

The “Designs & Paintings” exhibition runs until April 5 at the Youth Art Exhibition and Performance Hall in Praça do Tap Seac, which is open from noon to 8 p.m. every day (except Mondays). Admission is free.

As part of the government’s COVID-19 epidemic prevention measures, all visitors entering the venue have to wear a facemask, have their temperature checked and present a digital health declaration.
