Macau COVID-19 cases rise to 29

The Macau government announced late last night three more novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the total number to 29. 

According to statements by the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre, the 27th patient is a 28-year-old local man who returned from the UK on Sunday. 

The 28th patient is an 18-year-old local student who studies in the UK. He arrived at the local airport on Sunday. 

Both tested positive for the novel coronavirus today and are undergoing treatment at the isolation ward of the public Conde de S. Januario Hospital Centre.

The statement described their condition as "normal".  

The 29th case is a 15-year-old local girl enrolled in a school in the UK. She took a flight from the UK to Hong Kong via Kuala Lumpur on March 16. She stayed in Hong Kong for a week before arriving in Macau yesterday when she tested positive for the novel coronavirus. She is undergoing treatment at the isolation ward of the public hospital. The statement described her condition as "normal".
