According to a statement by the Judiciary Police (PJ) on Friday, the Public Security Police (PSP) reported to the Judiciary Police on April 1 that a bag of ammunition had been found on a construction site at the junction of Avenida de Kwong Tung and Rua de Sai On in Taipa.
According to the statement, seven workers of a cleaning company found a large number of bullets in a plastic bag in the weeds while removing debris from the construction site on March 31. They told their supervisor about it who reported the case to the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) and the police the following day.
In an on-site investigation, PJ officers collected a total of 186 bullets of three types of ammunition – 153 calibre 7.62 × 39 mm rifle bullets, 29 calibre 7.62 × 25 mm “Black Star” pistol bullets, and four Type 64 pistol calibre 7.62 × 17mm bullets.
According to the statement, the Judiciary Police will continue their investigation.
