Artwork by teachers and pupils from the Premier School Affiliated to Hou Kong Middle School is on display at the “Aesthetic and Science Innovation” exhibition at the gallery of the Centre of Education Resources of the Youth Education and Services Centre (DSEJ) this week.
According to an article on the DSEJ website, the exhibition marks the school’s 10th anniversary.
The exhibition showcases the outstanding work of the school’s kindergarten, elementary school and middle school pupils who have won prizes for their classroom exercises or competitions, the article points out.
The exhibition also shows the overall level of the school’s scientific innovation and the development of art education, according to the article.
The works are presented in various forms such as 3D printing modelling, innovative scientific and technological inventions, epoxy resin hand-made items, Chinese paintings, Chinese calligraphy, sketches, watercolours, Western-style paintings and illustrations. The exhibition aims to let the public witness the fruitful results of the school’s science and art education, according to the article.
The exhibition runs until Saturday in the ground-floor gallery of the Centre of Education Resources of the Youth Education and Services Centre at 926 Avenida da Praia Grande. It is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. to 5:40 p.m. Admission is free.
