The city’s third Toys“R”Us store will officially open its doors to the public in Nova Mall in Taipa on Monday, Shun Tak Holdings said in a statement yesterday.
The statement said that the new store, with over 1,850 square metres of retail space, is the largest flagship outlet that will feature a “Fun Park” – an entertainment zone housing virtual reality (VR) installations, interactive games, DIY events and party-hosting facilities for as many as 80 guests.
The store, like the one in Macau Tower and Ginza Plaza, is managed and operated by Shun Tak Holdings Limited.
The statement said that there would be pre-opening events at the new shop over the weekend ahead of the official opening on Monday, with in-store games for children and special discounts for Fun card members.
The “FunPark” and Café at FunPark will open later in the year, the statement said.
Macau’s first Ikea store opened in Nova Mall last month.
