The police arrested five men on Friday for plotting a violent revenge act against an unidentified group of mainlanders, a Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesperson said yesterday.
The case was announced during a special press briefing.
According to the spokesperson, a worker at a hotel in Zape spotted a suspicious bag hidden in a planter in Rua Cidade de Santarem early Thursday morning. The worker looked inside the bag, and found three knives, so they immediately contacted the Public Security Police (PSP).
