The House of Dancing Water is temporarily closed until January when it will return with a new show, Melco Resorts and Entertainment said in a statement yesterday.
The statement said that the new show would be “re-imagined” by The House of Dancing Water’s creative director Franco Dragone, and would be presented in January in time for the Chinese New Year in 2021.
The statement quoted the company’s Macau Resorts Chief Operating Officer David Sisk as saying the new show would offer new energy and excitement, enhancing its status as Macau’s must-see performance.
According to the statement, the water-based extravaganza located at its City of Dreams (COD) hotel-casino complex in Cotai has welcomed over six million spectators since its debut in 2010.
The stage production was created by Dragone, known for his work with Cirque du Soleil.
