A number of locals studying in Taiwan submitted a petition to an official at Macau’s representative office in Taipei yesterday, urging the Macau Foundation (FM) to withdraw its controversial decision to donate 100 million yuan (123 million patacas) to Jinan University in Guangzhou.
They also called for the resignation of Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On.
Leong Ka Wai, the initiator of the petition, sent the letter and a statement to several media outlets yesterday.
