MGM has teamed up with Parafuto de Macau (PFM) and Macao Young Entrepreneur Incubation Centre (MYEIC) to launch a two-year programme to nurture young entrepreneurs.
According to MGM’s statement, the “MYEIC x MGM Young Entrepreneur Nurturing Programme” provides participants with professional guidance through mentorship with industry professionals, with the aim to enhance business skills, professional knowledge and competitiveness of young entrepreneurs.
Almost 70 young entrepreneurs and representatives of local small- and medium-sized enterprises (SME) attended the programme’s launch ceremony held earlier this week at MGM Macau.
The programme is divided into eight rounds of professional mentorship training sessions in areas such as branding and marketing, information technology, human resources, hotel operations and purchasing.
The programme also includes site inspections, back-of-house visits and business matching sessions.
“MYEIC will continue to act as the bridge between young entrepreneurs and the industries, so that we can lay the pathway for the success of our young entrepreneurs,” PFM CEO and MYEIC Chairman Chui Sai Peng said.
