A fishing boat anchored in the Inner Harbour was damaged by fire on Saturday afternoon, the Fire Services Bureau (CB) said in a statement.
According to Saturday’s statement, the fire was possibly caused by welding carried out on the vessel. No-one was injured.
The bureau received a report about the fire at around 4 p.m. on Saturday. Firemen rushed to the vessel anchored near Praça de Ponte e Horta. When they arrived at the scene the blaze had already been extinguished. The statement did not say how the fire was put out but it pointed out that a Macau Customs Service vessel had sprayed water on the fishing boat.
