Repeater masturbates on bus, leaves semen on victim’s leg
An Indian man was arrested on Thursday for sexual harassment of a female bus passenger, after he committed the same kind of crime last month, while awaiting deportation to India, Public Security Police (PSP) spokesman Kam Ka Kit said during a regular press conference on Friday.
The 32-year-old suspect surnamed Raina told the police that he is jobless.
According to Kam, a passer-by called the Public Security Police at about 3 p.m. on Thursday about a female that had been sexually harassed. The 24-year-old victim told the police that during her bus journey from Taipa to Coloane earlier that day, the bus was crowded and she stood near the door. She suddenly realised that her buttocks were being touched by an object and her lower leg was covered with what appeared to be semen. Because she was in a panic, she did not call for help immediately. After getting off at a bus stop in Estrada do Istmo, she discovered that Raina was following her so she immediately shouted for help and asked passers-by to call the police.
PSP officers arrived at the scene and questioned Raina who admitted to committing the crime, saying that he had taken a fancy to the victim when he got on the bus, and was attracted by her clothes and appearance. So he stood behind the victim in the crowded bus and took out his penis to masturbate, leaving some semen on her calf, according to Kam.
After checking the immigration records, PSP officers discovered that Raina was involved in another sexual harassment case on July 18 and therefore his visitor visa had been cancelled. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Raina could not be repatriated immediately and is awaiting deportation, Kam said.
Raina has been transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office (MP) for follow-up, facing a sexual harassment charge, according to Kam.
Security guard caught for sexually harassing female passer-by
Meanwhile, a local man was arrested last Sunday for the sexual harassment of a female passer-by by touching her private parts last Saturday, Public Security Police (PSP) spokesman Kam Ka Kit said at a regular press conference on Friday.
The 64-year-old suspect is surnamed Hong.
According to Kam, a 27-year-old woman reported to the Public Security Police last Saturday that she had been sexually harassed by a man who touched her private parts in Rua Cidade do Porto in Nape. The suspect fled in the direction of Kun Iam Statue after committing the crime.
Thanks to the CCTV footage of a nearby shop, PSP officers identified Hong and found out that he works as a security guard. During the investigation in Nape the following day, officers discovered a security guard in a building was wearing a very similar uniform to the one worn by Hong when he committed the crime. With the assistance of the security company, PSP officers located Kong. Under questioning, Hong admitted to committing the crime, claiming that he was attracted by the young and beautiful victim when he passed by, and he was unable to control himself and touched the victim’s private parts, Kam said.
Hong has been transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office (MP), facing a sexual harassment charge, according to Kam.
